on Tuesday November 13, in room 141 HNES building at 5:45 pm.

- The election of a Chief Returning Officer who will manage the election of the
new GESSA Executive Committee.

- Updates on “Greening the HNES Building’ initiative”.

The Graduate Environmental Studies Students’ Association (GESSA) are currently seeking one energetic FES Graduate student (either MES or PhD) to become the new FES Student Senator on the York University Senate.
The prospective grad student will be required to serve as a FES Student Senator for a two-year period beginning the moment their
elected at the next GESSA General Meeting (November 13th, 2007) until their term ends June 30th, 2009. Therefore, the student needs to be committed to the position, be able to represent the needs of the entire FES community, and is flexible with their availability in relation to the Student Senator Caucus and York Senate meeting schedules. The two year period for the Student senator position is in reference with York Senate regulations. The next SSC meeting will be on Nov. 15, and York Senate is on Nov 22.
